DESCRIPTION:Groove 101 Band are an award winning dynamic group of Tunbridge Wells and South London based musicians. They take audiences on a musical journey from classic soul\, funk to ska\, reggae and modern dance styles. The band features soulful & jazzy vocals\, fiery horns and tight infections rhythms. Each performance is unique: the band captivates audiences with live improvisation and contemporary arrangements such that no two performances are ever the same. Groove 101 were proud recipients of Royal Borough of Greenwich Arts and Entertainment Award 2024. \nCommunity engagement is a core aspect of the Groove 101 ethos. Participation is weaved into the design of every show. This is evident through the approach to audience participation and communication. In addition to playing a wide\, variety of culturally diverse music\, performances are accessible to all. Groove 101 have signed up to Royal Borough of Greenwich equality and equity charter. There are featured sections of each show where audience members can sing and showcase their dancing.
