Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra brings together talented young musicians from across Kent, performing classic big band tunes alongside contemporary jazz funk, rock and Latin arrangements.

June

4th: Fleetwood Mac Tribute ‘Our Own Way’
A tribute packed with Fleetwood Mac favourites, recreating the sound, harmonies and spirit of the band at the height of their career — including hits such as The Chain, Dreams, Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way and Albatross.

11th: Jive Aces
A high-energy swing and jive act known for their feel-good performances, Britain’s Got Talent appearance and uplifting take on classic jazz and swing.

18th: Jonah’s Wail
One of Kent’s foremost live acts, this versatile 8-piece party band with horn section plays crowd-pleasing hits from artists including Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Kate Bush, Raye, Oasis, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, The Killers, ABBA and Robbie Williams.

25th: Abalicious
One of the UK’s top ABBA tribute bands, Abalicious brings authentic costumes, strong vocals, harmonies, choreography and plenty of audience participation for a fun, high-energy night of ABBA favourites.

July

2nd: Pollito Boogaloo
A vibrant blend of Colombian cumbia, salsa and vallenato with afrobeat, dub and electro influences. Expect infectious rhythms, soulful melodies and an energetic performance led by frontman Rafael Berrio.

9th: Derek Nash & Noel McCalla plus friends
Award-winning saxophonist Derek Nash and acclaimed soul vocalist Noel McCalla perform soul and funk classics from artists such as Al Green, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder.

16th: Charlotte Lubbock Band
Local singer, songwriter and vocal coach Charlotte Lubbock performs an eclectic mix of blues, soul, melodic rock and jazz, joined by some of Kent’s finest musicians.

23rd: Dave Ital & Friends
Internationally acclaimed guitarist Dave Ital leads an evening of soul, funk and jazz, with a wide-ranging repertoire designed to keep the audience dancing all night.

25th, Saturday: Soul Train – The Audacity Funk & Soul Band
A special Saturday night of funk and soul from a band with roots in The BIG Gs, Funk Around Band and The Audacity, playing well-known feel-good music with a classic funk and soul foundation.

30th: Princess
Stephanie Benson, also known as Princess Akua Ohenewaa Asieanem of Kokobin, is a UK-based Ghanaian international singer and performer rooted in jazz music.

August

6th: Heads South
A Cuban and Latin jazz band fusing Cuban and Latin rhythms with classic and original tunes. Expect superb musicianship, exciting percussion and an exhilarating Latin jazz sound.

13th: Geoff Mason
Led by acclaimed trombonist Geoff Mason, this quartet brings together highly respected figures from the UK jazz scene for an evening of polished, world-class jazz.

20th: Venn 5
A 5-piece band performing feel-good disco, pop, rock, reggae and ballads. Expect a nostalgic, energetic set featuring timeless hits and crowd favourites.

27th: Hard Lines
A night of jazz funk from Hard Lines, featuring excellent musicianship, a strong repertoire of covers and originals, and a line-up including guitar, bass, sax and keyboards.

3rd: Nouveau Lounge
A modern vintage jazz band inspired by Postmodern Jukebox, Nouveau Lounge reworks modern pop songs in a jazz style, from Charleston and swing-style arrangements to quirky, decadent live favourites.
